The Great Indian Kekta Challenge

The Great Indian Kkekta Challenge
21 May 2012
NDTV- PROFIT“Breaking News!!!

National Stock Exchange has reached new heights; all past world records have been broken. NSE has scaled a height of 25000 points. Stock Market analysts, academicians are speechless, brokers are broke, and banks are at the banks. All this because of one woman.

Ever since Ms. Kkekta Kapoor (Kerstwhile Kekta Kapoor and erstwhile Ekta Kapoor ), CMD, CEO, COO, CFO, CCO, CCC of Kbalaji Ktelefilms Kpvt Kltd., Kbalaji Khousing, Kbalaji Kgraveyards, Kbalaji Kbindis, Kbalaji Kglasses, Kbalaji Ksafety Kits, Kbalaji Kmakeup Kits ( to know more abt these ltds. Plz refer Glossary at the end)*, decided to register K_Balaji Enterprise in the NSE, mayhem has occurred in world of stocks. K_Balaji Home Production became K_Balaji Enterprise in 2007. At that time it was already running 101 serials in English and Hindi.

Kkekta Kapoor who started of with serials like HUM PAANCH, has come a long way. From a small time producer, she has become an era of globalization in herself. Not only is she directing the Indian Saas-Bahu sagas, she is also involved in many international projects.

2007 was the turning point in her career, when came her first international offer from Mr. Yang Mie Chung, a famous daily soap director of China. On one of his trips to India he happened to meet Kekta Kapoor, who with a supernatural skill at torturing people coaxed him into watching, her then mega-hit serial “Kahin kisssi roz Kavyanjali Ke Karam Karthika Ki Kashti Ko Kayamaat Ke Kanyadaan ke Kalash mein Kab Kaise Kahan le jayen”. He liked it so much that he asked her to write something as great for the Chinese CHU-DAIL (that’s what they call saas-bahu in Chinese), as he thought the life of CHU-DAILs in China was too bland and that in a communist country this was the only way to vent out their frustrations. Ms. Kkekta Kapoor wrote the legendary “King Kong CHU-DAIL Kobra”. The serial’s pilot episode was aired in June, 2008, which met with an intial slag, as people were too scared to watch it. But very soon the show went onto to become a runaway hit and Ms. Kkekta Kapoor found herself mapped on the world. Then Hollywood came calling and soon she was directing “Kkkill Bill’s Mom-in-law” for producer Woody Allen. The show starring some of the big names of Hollywood had Tony (WWE) in the role of the Mom-in-law, Paris Hilton and Lindsy Lohan as the daughters-in-law and Mr. Bill Clinton himself, playing the role of the ‘unfatithful’ husband. The show has been running three straight years into top charts, even after Bill quit last year accusing Kkekta of not allowing her to do justice to his role by not being unfaithful enough (he wanted a few more women). Brad Pitt replaced him with an equal fervour and recently Kkekta’s adopted the already adopted 25th kid of his and Jolie’s as they could not control so many kids. Now, Kkekta, with 51 dailly soaps across the world and another 101 serials in India, is the ‘Betaj Idiot’ of the idiot box.

Now with mouthfull of success, Kkekta is planning to ring the wedding bell, with hubby and chubby Kkaran Johar (Kerstwhile Karan Johar). With the whole television industry on her finger tips, she is now desperate to have some of her own saas’ and bahus, as she feels that she is finally ready for the combat. With full sympathy for SRK, Rani, the Indian television and film industry and the neighbours to be, we give our best of wishes to Kkekta and Karan and hope that the Khoneymoon lasts longer than it can.

THE SONG OF SILENCE
The creeping voices of this silence, are slowly pouring through my soul,
I’m standing all alone on a stranded road with my life in a million folds.
And I can feel the walls falling stone by stone on me,
The screeching voices are held in a breath too long to feel.
I can smell my fingers going numb, all along life has lost its sense.
But, the darkness is putting me to sleep through sweet song of silence.
My lids are closing down, to the darkness of my pain,
The paths I’ve meandered through have all gone in vain.
The words no more have meaning; I’ve heard what you have to say,
I’m tired of walking all alone; it’s such a long day.
My life is stuck in a moment, a moment too long to live.
Like breath held too tightly, too tightly too breathe.
I’m seeking the lost beauty of innocence,
But the moment is pulling me into the sweet song of silence.
The days are so long and dark, the time is at a hault,
The rooms are so empty, everything so untouched,
And I gaze through my desolate eyes, helpless, screaming it not my fault.
And as try to feel the depth of my pith, I fall inside my sin,
The broken pieces of my soul are pouring through my skin.
The stillness of moving pictures, I can feel in the broken mirror,
I try to peep into the pieces, but pulled back by fear,
A fear of seeing the unseen, a fear of seeing the truth I’ve not been.
The sweet smell of life is tucked away, somewhere far from my essence,
And somehow, striving through the fields, I start humming the song of silence.
Now, when I walk through the crowed boulevards, I see the voidness inside concrete,
Forging myself into life, I see the stifled surrendered streets.
But the time has washed away my tears; the winds have swept away my fears.
Trying to extinguish the fire of my silhouette, people turn their heads around,
Moving on, exalting the silence of sound.
But life has its way of showing the girth of resilience,
Sometimes through words, sometimes through a song of silence.
